Colm is the founder, pioneer and architect of all that we do here at Edge45®. When he isn’t wading knee deep through data and theorising strategies, you’ll find him spearheading business development, evaluating performance and maximising workflow.
Having achieved a 1st class master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and with over 16 years marketing experience, Colm’s meticulous and systematic approach allows him to simplify and implement the most complex of concepts.
Outside of work he enjoys tinkering with 3d design, drumming along to ACDC and collecting a questionable amount of gaming memorabilia and is now becoming obsessed with AI Content Generation.

Jo Davey
Jo is our dynamic and infinitely cheery Managing Director. With her boundless energy and ambition, she continues to steer our agency onwards and upwards.
Her key responsibility is to ensure that all Edge45® clients are getting the biggest bang for their bucks. She does this by ensuring the work of the wider team is nothing short of exceptional.
Jo will use her vibrant personality and 15 years’ worth of digital know-how to find the best opportunities for your business and keep you smiling like a Cheshire Cat.
Renowned for her resilience and ability to listen, she will quickly get in sync with your company goals, before unearthing both quick wins and new avenues to explore. During her career Jo has helped all manner of public and private sector businesses to achieve the impossible. It’s all in a day’s work.

Mike Gomez
Mike is our esteemed, amiable, and highly astute Performance Director. With over 14 years of agency-side experience and a colossal knowledge of all things SEO, he is responsible for ensuring we achieve exceptional results for each and every client.
After learning and fine tuning his craft at two of the biggest digital marketing agencies in Leeds, Mike joined Edge45® in the summer of 2020. He has since played a crucial role in developing the team and taking our client strategy and service offering to another level.
Away from work, Mike is a family man and sports enthusiast. A former college basketball player, he now keeps fit with early morning gym sessions and five-a-side football (and chasing after his son, Raffi)!

James Walker

James is our Senior SEO Manager and master digital strategist. Sharp as a tack and cool as a cucumber, he never fails to endear himself to both clients and colleagues alike.
With a degree in Business & Marketing under his belt, James went on to climb the ranks at a leading SEO agency in Leeds. Over the course of a decade, he clocked up a huge amount of experience and learnings whilst running SEO campaigns for a range of big-name brands.
James’ role at Edge45® is to impart this wealth of knowledge to our SEO Leads and help them to deliver incredible results for the clients they look after, as well as for his own.
Away from the office, James is kept very busy raising two young children, but he also finds time to indulge in his lifelong love of tennis. He’s also a keen gamer with Final Fantasy being his all-time favourite.

Jonathan JE Brown

Jonathan is our Senior Content Strategist and a strong believer in the power of words to engage, entertain, and entice.
He has worked as a content editor in digital search for 8 years, leading the content strategy on Drum and UK Search Award winning projects along the way.
During his time as a senior editor in a Leeds SEO agency, he worked with multinational brands, high street financial institutions, and major pharma firms.
Jonathan’s new role at Edge45® will see him impart his content marketing skills and experience to the growing team, as well as our range of growing clients.
Outside of office hours, Jonathan loves to write – if he can find time (his three kids also take up a big chunk of his leisure time). He’s also a keen Newcastle fan and “plays” football with other equally fit dads in York.

Jack Brayshaw
Jack spent the earlier years of his career exploring different digital marketing disciplines to identify where he wanted his area of expertise to be. After working for 3 years as a 360 digital marketer – covering content, social, paid ads and email marketing – he finally found his calling in SEO.
Deciding to become a specialist in SEO, rather than being a marketing Jack of all trades, he joined Edge45® as an SEO Executive. His background across multiple industries has helped him to understand how different business operate. This – combined with his strong analytical skills and love of data – made SEO a perfect fit.
When it comes to the big questions – cats or dogs? – Jack decided not to choose. He has both a cat and a dog to keep him busy outside of work – when he’s not on the green of his local golf course or taking a dip in the pool.

Max Watt

Max is our in-house Copywriter. He has been writing for many years in many forms – creative, academic, and corporate. He spent many years as a freelance copywriter focussing on B2B content before joining Edge45®. His ultimate goal is to become the greatest copywriter in the world. Striving for somewhere in the vicinity of the top spot will do for now.
Outside of work, he writes creatively, plays music, and reads voraciously. Reading is a great passion. He believes the greatest conclusions drawn by humankind stoke the writing flame, and that without a creative strategy influenced in part by intimate reading marketing suffers.
Above all, he believes in the power of words. They can influence how people think, view the world, and function within it. He particularly enjoys when his writing is guided by a precise strategy.

Sarah Healey
Sarah is our versatile and creative Copywriter. Getting to the heart of human stories and connecting with wide audiences has always been the driving motivator behind Sarah’s writing.
Before joining Edge45, Sarah worked as an Associate Editor for a large scientific publication, using her writing skills to engage niche audiences and translate highly technical material into digestible content.
Sarah’s new role at Edge45 will see her getting to the heart of our diverse range of clients, writing engaging and thoughtful copy, and researching new content strategies.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to write her own creative fiction and poetry, play guitar and get outside in nature.
